ELETTROMEDIA WINS GLOBAL AWARDS FOR INNOVATION

Two prestigious awards in the space of four days, confirming the Elettromedia Group’s ability to best interpret the dynamics of its target markets. Both in Europe and in the US.
The Potenza Picena-based company, a world leader in the professional audio, car, marine and power sports market, flew on Friday, September 29, to London, specifically to Ascot Racecourse. It was the developer of the winning software, engineer Ferdinando Foresi, who picked up the Eisa Award for the In-car Dsp software category (Expert imaging and sound association, an association of 55 trade magazines from 29 countries). This is the 22nd award since 2003.
These were the jury’s reasons for considering Audison’s “bit Drive” software, a historic Elettromedia brand, the most innovative product of the year: “It is the perfect tool for getting the most out of the latest -and future- Dsp (digital sound processing, ed.) based devices. Presenting its advanced features through a new and increasingly intuitive Gui (graphical user interface), it offers ease of use and speed in complex tasks and makes configuration with standard systems a breeze (…).”

A new milestone was reached on Tuesday, Oct. 3, in Tampa, Florida, at the world’s most important exhibition for marine components: the Ibex (The International boatbuilders’ exhibition & conference). Representing the Group were technical director Luca Girotti with Newly Rossetti (product development) and Angelo Reschini (key account manager of the marine division).
“The U.S. covers more than 80 percent of the international marine market,” comments Marco Pantaleone, Hertz Marine product manager, “and the fact that the Ibex’s top-level technical committee awarded us with the Innovation Award for standing out among so many companies with the Hertz Marine HTX 8H S-FL-G (entertainment), which was also deemed innovative product of the year, is a source of great pride. This creates value in our target markets, thanks in part to our long experience in the professional audio industry with the Lavoce Italiana brand.”

Aiming to meet the needs and better serve marine manufacturing customers in the U.S., an office in Tennessee was opened last March with the establishment of Elettromedia Corporation. This was a key step for the company, which entered North America in a direct way with this operation.
“The latest awards make us look even more toward the future. They also reward our expansion strategy,” Marco adds, “which has not succumbed to the post-pandemic, on the contrary.
“Our corporate mission,” intervenes Elettromedia Group General Manager Pietro Pantaleone (Marco’s father) with satisfaction, “is precisely to make technology affordable for everyone. Ergonomics, development of algorithms to have the best results, artificial intelligence in audio processing and clarity of sound, calibrated in the car as at home, are the key words. We have chosen to invest, always, in research and make it our strong point. Business management is based on strategic planning and attention to human resources.”
The Potenza Picena office currently employs 90 people, more than 40 of whom are employed in the research and development area. There is a team dedicated specifically to scientific research and innovation, which collaborates with the Milan Polytechnic.
